Homer Richard Marble passed away on March 31, 2018. He was born September 22, 1937 in Tremonton, Utah to Homer E. Marble and June A. Rhodes Marble.
Richard was raised in Deweyville, Utah where he built many lifelong friendships. He graduated from Bear River High School. He served in the army and National Guard. He worked at Thiokol for 39 years.
On August 6, 1959, he married Marilyn Christensen Marble and had four children, Richele, Robyn, Alan, and Shawn. They later divorced. He married Mauretta (Beeper) Larsen Ravsten on June 7, 1991.
Richard loved a good game of golf. He won the Tremonton Club Championship three times. He enjoyed golfing with Beeper. They traveled to several states playing in tournaments and playing many golf courses together. For the past 18 years they have made their winter home in Quartsite, Arizona.
Surviving is his wife, Beeper Marble, his children, Robyn Esplin (Mack), Alan Richard Marble, and Shawn J. Marble (Trish). He leaves 11 grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves 3 step-children, and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A special thanks goes to the Bear River Valley Care Center for their care and extra patience with Dad. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Hospice from Rocky Mountain Care for their thoughtfulness & kindness.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E Tremonton, Utah) at 11:00 AM with a viewing prior to the funeral from 9-10:30 AM. Burial services will follow at the Deweyville Cemetery.
